Lemminkäinen Infra Oy, one of Finland’s largest construction companies, uses the Lokotrack® LT550GP™ cone crusher plant as the secondary crusher behind its Lokotrack® LT125™ primary jaw crushing plant. The Lokotrack LT550GP is equipped with a highly effective inclined two-deck 5.6 m2 (6.7 yd2) screen with the possibility of recirculating oversize material from one or two decks.

The Lokotrack LT550GP is used in different combinations together with other members of the company’s 25-piece Lokotrack fleet. In two-stage crushing, the LT550GP has a typical production of 400 mtph (440 stph) of 0–70 mm (0–2 ¾”) base material. Another typical configuration is to add an LT550GPF™ cone crusher plant behind an LT550GP to serve as the tertiary closed-circuit crushing stage for producing aggregates.

Other Nordberg® cone crusher models which are available in similar Lokotrack configuration – either as diesel or electric driven versions: Nordberg® HP4™, HP400™, HP500™ and GP500S™.

Process overview
LT550GP is typically used as a secondary crusher in a multistage crushing process. There’s various configurations available. In the simplest configuration the belt feeder loads the crusher and the secondary product is transferred further in the process by the main conveyor. LT550GPS is supplied with a two-deck screening module which can be arranged either in open or closed circuit. In LT550GPF the material is first lifted to a large three-deck screen and which separates the desired products to the discharge conveyors and the oversize to the crusher.

How it works
LT550GP is track mounted fully mobile cone crusher plant. It can be moved flexibly in different locations at the site. It is also easy to dismantle for truck transportation with optional hydraulic legs.

Lokotrack LT550GP is typically powered by diesel engine but electric driven option is also available offering the possibility to use electric power either from the external grid, or generated by the on-board diesel generating set.

There’s several open or closed circuit screening options available. LT550GP can be supplied also with HP series crushers such as HP400.
