Metso NW106™ portable primary crushing plant is built around Nordberg® C106™ jaw crusher, with a proven track record in the toughest applications. The plant can be equipped either with on-board main and side conveyors or directly connected to the plant conveyor system.
Features
Metso NW106 portable jaw crushing plant transforms into a very compact package. No heavy cranes are required for plant setup. Hydraulically operated fine adjustable support legs enables NW106 to be ready for action only some hours after arriving on site. An agile undercarriage system makes it also very easily movable from site to site. A total weight is only 30 tons (66 400 lbs) makes it easy to transport in most roads and highways.

Metso NW Series portable jaw crushing plants are built around Nordberg C Series jaw crushers. The crushers are engineered for the toughest feed materials. The reliability of C Series jaw crushers is based on a revolutionary pinned and bolted, non-welded frame construction. This design provides excellent fatigue strength even in the toughest quarrying and mining applications. The Metso NW106 is a primary jaw plant for rock based material. It is normally used as a first unit in a multistage crushing process.
How it works
Metso NW Series portable jaw crushing plants with a vibrating feeder are used for primary crushing. Material is fed on to feeder by excavator, wheel loader or by dump truck. Two-stage scalping section removes the fines which can be guided to main conveyor or side conveyor. Output material size is controlled by crusher setting. The Nordberg C106 crusher has an electric drive to ensure trouble free and economical operation.
