Process overview
First machine in a crushing and screening process the Metso PF Series pan feeders are commonly utilized in the primary sections to feed the primary crusher. They are designed to take large lumps coming from the blasting.

How it works
Metso PF Series pan feeders are animated by a strong linear motion to move forward the material. The mechanism is made of MV modular vibrators (unique to market) being flange mounted to the mechanism beam. Each MV modular vibrator has eccentric counterweights creating the wanted stroke. To facilitate the servicing Metso offers exchange program of MV vibrators.

Metso PF Series pan feeders can feed an intermediate scalper or directly the primary crusher.
