The Striker Design Principles – The Striker “J” Series Single Toggle down thrust Jaw Crusher is designed for use in the heavy and continuous applications of the mining, recycling and quarry industries. The features and benefits of the J series are endless, and all Jaw Crushers are designed to work with Track, Mobile, Portable and Fixed Plant installations, manufactured to last.

Main Frame – Designed and manufactured using the latest casting and fabrication methods, Four piece heavy-duty structure is fully bolted and dowelled. The front and rear frames are cast from high strength steel, with the side plates produced from high strength structural plate. Mounting feet can be located in several locations depending upon application.

Hydraulic Toggle Adjustment – Fitted standard to the J series is an infinitely Variable Closed Side Setting Adjustment though the use of externally mounted cylinders for ease of maintenance.

Jaw Retention – The fixed jaw is held using a unique locking wedge system that both retains and aides in the release of the fixed jaw liner. Retaining the swing jaw is carried out by use of a wedge locking system fitted at the top of the swing stock and protects the swing jaw liner upper edge.

Swing Jaw Holder – Cast high grade structural steel construction capable of crushing in the toughest conditions. Strongly constructed from cast steel with deep webbing to give strength with reasonable lightness. The face which receives the swing jaw and the groove which receives the toggle plate are both machined in-house to ensure an accurate fit and good alignment.

Jaws – Both the fixed and swing are top to bottom reversible and come in various profiles for Quarry, Recycling and Mining applications.

Jaw Stock & Body Bearings – Every jaw crusher is fitted with self aligning spherical roller bearings. Their higher shock-load bearing capacity and effective labyrinth seals protect from the ingress of dirt and dust. The body bearings are grease lubricated.

Toggle Plate & Groove Block – The toggle plate is a high quality iron casting with the ends machined to a segment of a circle to minimise rubbing and reduce wear.

Eccentric Shaft – A high quality nickle-chrome forged steel shaft, fully machined to the highest accuracy and heat treated to obtain the finest possible finish and ensure longer bearing life.
