As part of the Metso PREMIER screen series, the ES™ is fully configurable, designed to incorporate any type of screening media for maximum operational flexibility while achieving safe and simple maintenance.

Ramp up your screening efficiency with the revolutionary, high-energy elliptical motion Metso PREMIER ES™ screen. The combination of horizontal decks + high acceleration + aggressive elliptical vibration provide a strong stratification of the bed depth so the highest screening accuracy.

Moreover the Metso PREMIER ES™ horizontal screens are using universal deck design accepting both tensioned screening panels and modular snap on panels. The screen angle is adjustable from 0-10° to increase the capacity when needed. Stroke and RPM parameters can be set up within a wide range to meet the optimal performance.

The integrated feedbox is very deep and long to allow easy interface with the feed conveyor. Furthermore this feedbox design provides immediate particle distribution over the first panel row of the top deck, so again higher efficiency.

The comfortable room between the decks is a strong health & safety feature contributing to the safe and fast panel replacement. This feature is unique to market concerning horizontal elliptical motion screen.

Process overview
Metso PREMIER ES™ horizontal screens are commonly processing secondary separations or fine separations. They are also the best performers for waste screening and for all other difficult applications. For instance when feed is made of flaky particles (pegging challenge) or being sticky (clogging challenge).

Metso PREMIER ES™ horizontal screens are the most recommended screens under wet process, including washing or rinsing purpose.

How it works
The two unbalanced shaft lines rotate in opposite directions to generate a high-energy elliptical motion. This deceptively gearless solution is more efficient than conventional horizontal screens with linear motion, and more reliable than other elliptical motion screens. No mechanical timing device, no gears, no timing belt and no oil leakage trouble.

Each shaft line is made of MV modular vibrators (unique to market) being flange mounted to the side walls and synchronized by a cardan shaft. Each MV modular vibrator has eccentric counterweights creating the wanted stroke. To facilitate the servicing Metso offers Exchange Program of MV vibrators.

The side walls and the cross members are weld free to accommodate the fatigue stress.

In standard the integrated feedbox and the discharge spouts are fitted with replaceable rubber liners (premium wear protection). Optional cross member liners are available, bolted design (not glued), allowing easy and fast replacement when worn out.
