The characteristics of materials?
Main component of limestone is calcium carbonate (CaCO3). Lime and limestone are used as building materials in large amount and are essential raw materials for many industries. Limestone can be processed to building stones or fired to unslaked lime directly. Lime includes unslaked lime and slaked lime. Main component of unslaked lime is CaO which is block-shaped. Pure CaO is white but CaO with impurities is light grey or faint yellow. If unslaked lime absorbs moisture or water, it will become hydrated lime which is also called slaked lime. The main component of slaked lime is Ca(OH)2. Slaked lime can be mixed to be lime slurry, lime putty and lime mortar etc which are used as coating materials and tile adhesive. In some places, it also called to be: limestone, calcite, marble, chalk, aragonite or white marble.

The production line for limestone consists of vibrating feeder, jaw crusher, impact crusher and vibrating screen. The secondary crushing applies three-line configuration. If the machine in any of the lines has fault, another two lines can operate normally. The particle shape of the materials after being crushed by impact crusher is excellent. The performance of the material is improved. One intermediate bunker is designed in this production line, improving the volume of production of the entire line.
Solution process
First stage
The limestone in large hopper is fed to jaw crusher by vibrating feeder. The small material in raw materials is screened and separated by vibrating screen and conveyed to intermediate bunker together with the material being crushed by jaw crusher.
Second stage
The material in intermediate bunker is fed to impact crusher by vibrating feeder.
Third stage
The material after being crushed by impact crusher is screened and separated in two stages into four types: 0-5mm, 5-10mm, 10-20mm and 20-31.5mm. The material with diameter larger than 31.5mm is conveyed to intermediate bunker by belt conveyor and gets crushed again.
